When Calls the Heart stars Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace wed in September 2024 after meeting on the set of the Hallmark drama.
The couple announced on May 10 that they had welcomed their first child together, months after Kayla had revealed the pregnancy.
Kevin and Kayla’s WCTH co-stars, Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, along with Chris McNally and his girlfriend Julie Gonzalo, are also pregnant.
The When Calls the Heart family just expanded with one very special member.
Fans of the hit Hallmark drama know that Kevin McGarry (who plays Nathan Grant) has been in a long-term relationship with recurring co-star Kayla Wallace (who plays Fiona Miller). The two met while filming When Calls the Heart, and after dating since at least 2020, they tied the knot in September 2024.
In a joint Instagram post on May 10, just months after announcing they were expecting their first child, Kayla and Kevin revealed they were now a family of three.
“Mother,” she wrote in the caption. “The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met. Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life. Happy Mother’s Day 🩵.”
When fans saw Kevin and Kayla’s emotional family announcement, they couldn’t be happier for them.
“Hooray, Hurrah! 🎉 You’re a mommy! Congratulations!” one person wrote in the comments. “Oh my goodness! What a beautiful picture. 🥰 Thank you for sharing your new family with us!” another exclaimed. “Are you kidding me! This is the sweetest 😍,” a different follower added.
They’re not the only ones in the WCTH cast who are expanding their families this year. Erin Krakow (who plays Elizabeth Thornton) and her husband, Ben Rosenbaum (who plays Mike Hickam), are awaiting the birth of their first child, too, along with Chris McNally (who plays Lucas Bouchard) and his girlfriend, Julie Gonzalo, who are expecting their second kid.
