Olivia Wilde Kisses Ellie Goulding’s Ex-Husband Caspar Jopling After Dinner Date in London

Olivia Wilde and Caspar Jopling seem to have found a new romance.

On Thursday, Sept. 4, Wilde, 41, and Jopling, 33 — the ex-husband of Ellie Goulding — were photographed kissing in London outside of a restaurant after a dinner date.

The pair wrapped their arms around each other and kissed as they left the restaurant. Additional photos of the date, published by Page Six, showed the Don’t Worry Darling director and Jopling inside the restaurant, with Wilde placing her hand on his shoulder.

Jopling is an art dealer who was married to singer Goulding, 38, from 2019 until they announced their separation in February 2024. They share one son, Arthur, who was born in 2021.

“In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago,” Goulding wrote on Instagram at that time. “We remain the closest of friends and have been successfully co-parenting with our sons best interests at heart. We are committed to protecting our family privacy and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes – we won’t be commenting further.”

Jopling wrote on Instagram Stories at the same time that he and Goulding “chose to do what we could to keep this private” before reports of their separation first emerged.

“Ellie and I remain the closest of friends and, most importantly, ‘co-parents’ to the best kiddo in the world, Arthur,” he wrote. “This is the last I want to say on this – and please ask that you respect mine and Ellie’s privacy.”

Wilde was previously married to Italian prince Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011. The former couple finalized their divorce in October 2011. She began dating Jason Sudeikis that same year, and they got engaged in January 2013.

Wilde and Sudeikis share two children — Otis, 11, and Daisy, 8. They split in 2020. Since then, Wilde dated Harry Styles after she cast him in Don’t Worry Darling in 2021, but by November 2022, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair were “taking a break.” Styles, 31, has been spotted on recent romantic outings with Zoë Kravitz.

In January, Wilde was photographed spending time with actor and former pro basketball player Dane DiLiegro. “She’s dating and having fun,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “She’s busy with work so not looking for anything serious.”

Wilde most recently appeared in Seth Rogen‘s Apple TV+ series The Studio, in which she had a guest role as a version of herself. She has multiple projects in the works, including a movie she will star in opposite Cooper Hoffman titled I Want Your Sex and her next movie as a director, The Invite, which features Wilde and Rogen in its cast.
